Hello holo!

Good morning to all of you! Finally it's Saturday again (also my favourite day in the week :P) :))
I've almost finished my exams (I've got the last one on Tuesday) and I can already feel freedom in the air XD
I'd love to go to the seaside with this gorgeous weather, but unfortunately I have to wait next week for this :(
Anyway, today I show you a combo I'm not so sure about :/ The base colour is from Pupa (and has obviously no name >.<) and the topper is "Hello holo" from Essence, which I bought a few month ago and didn't try it until this mani. Well, the nice thing about this combo are of course the holo glitters, they looked amazing in the sun! But I don't really like the shade of this light blue...I think I won't use it again for a while.
So, have a wonderful week-end, and enjoy the pictures ;)
(First two pictures were taken in direct sun)

Essence "Bella" + "Choose me"

I'm so angry with my camera. Today I wanted to show you what a lovely colour "Bella" is, but my camera doesn't want to capture the right colour. Even after I put on a coat of "Choose me", the base colour didn't change >.<
So, the pictures you'll se now, aren't really accurate, and I apologize for that. You first should take a look at the pictures of this polish on the Internet (actually a gorgeous and vibrant green) and then imagine it with Choose me as topper. In reality this combo is great, but on these pictures it looks pretty banal :(
Anyway, I absolutely want to try "Choose me" over a black polish, it should look faboulous :)
Oh, and I agree with all those girls who say that it's like having a marmaid tail on your nails with this varnish ;)
(This is two coats of Essence "Bella" + one coat of "Choose me")

White polka dots

So, here it is, my final polka dots manicure :) I really like it, it's so soft and sweet! And, guess what? This time no bubbles appeared! Maybe I finally applied my polish right :P
(white dots made with white polish by Debby)

Essence "mellow yellow"

Such an amazing weather...it's warm, the sun is shining, a little breeze...the perfect sunday morning!
And because I'm in a good mood, I decided to paint my nails yellow :D A few days ago I bought "Mellow yellow" from Essence, and I absolutely wanted to try it out asap, and so here it is :)
First I was a bit scared of this kind of colour, because I didn't think that yellow would match with my skin tone or with my taste. But, after trying it, I must admit that I'm really in love <3 I think yellow is such a positive colour,  and everytime I look at it I just have to smile :D
Aaaaaand, I'm also thinking about doing some pretty dots nail art on this colour, it's soooo inviting :P So, let's see if I'm really going to try this.
Anyway, here is the polish and my nails, I love it, and what do you think?
(This is three coats with no top coat)

Essence "just rock it" + "Carrie"

Finally a mani I really love :) After changing nail polish three times yesterday, I found the perfect match!
So, this is two coats of Essence "just rock it" and one coat of "Carrie" (also from Essence) on the top. I really think these two polishes are freaking awsome together XD I must find some more topper polishes like this...I think they're gorgeous over almost every base!

"Sweet as candy" + "229"

In these days I'm really not inspired...I would change my polish everyday because I can't find the right one :(
For today another pink mani: this time I layered "sweet as candy" with "229" from Kiko. The result is pretty girlish and sweet, and I actually like it :)
In addiction, every time I do my mani, after a while, little bubbles appear on the nail polish, and it's a thing I really hate, it drives me mad! I tried to do every step right during the application: thin coats, waiting until the polish is completely dry, etc. but it still bubbles >.< Does this happen to you too?
Well, I leave you now with some pictures...and I go back to my books :P Have a nice day!

Essence "Wanna kiss?"

So, I've just got back home after my first exam for this semester...I'm soooo tired because I had to wake up at 5.45 A.M. to take the train, so now I hardly keep my eyes open XD
Anyway, I'm pretty happy because now I have only three exams left (except for the two I'll do in september), and then I'll finally enjoy my holidays!
So, for today a very girlish pink polish (yeahhh, I LOVE pink!!) again from Essence, called "Wanna kiss?". All I have to say is that I can't complain about almost anything (except for the brushes of these bottles which I think are really awful =.=)...the colour is so soft, very marshmallow-like <3 and the colour itself dries very shiny :)
Here it is! Isn't it lovely? :D

P.S. I also wanted to thank you all for your lovely comments and welcome my new followers! :3 I know that I never reply to your comments, but you have to forgive me, because I have really little time for my blog, so...sorry!!

Essence "hypnotic poison"

Yesterday I did some more Essence shopping, and I got home with three new colours, one quick dry tc, a nail repair polish and a stamps plate. So I decided that it was time to wear some red again (as you can easily notice, I don't wear red a lot), and for this purpose I bought "hypnotic poison", a dark, vampy red with purple glitters. Well, once again I must say that Essence didn't disappoint me.
The formula of this polish is just great, the application was super-easy and the colour looks gorgeous after two coats. Love it! Then I put on one coat of the quick drying polish, but I don't think that it worked well because I'm still waiting for the polish to dry completely XD Anyway, it gave my red an amazing glossy finish *.*
Stop talking, I show you the pictures so you can have an idea of how beautiful this colour is!
P.S. I had to take three pictures because this polish changes depending on the light, so, here are: indoors, outdoors without direct sun and direct sun.

Back again

Sorry for my one-week-absence, but I had a lot of things to do, and my blogging will be a bit slow for the next weeks, because on the 16th my exams start, and I have to concentrate of them first of all :(
Anyway, today I show you another "cheap polish" I got from a local drugstore, and it's an amazing colour in my opinion. It's a metallic blue, and it has a great formula and a beautiful brush, so applying it was quite pleasant :)
In the pictures below it's two coats and a tc.

Tape manicure

So, here it is :) I really like this kind of tape-mani, and I do it often like this. This time I used Sweet as candy (Essence) for the base colour and number 247 (Kiko) for the tips. Aaaaaand obviously a top coat :)
Have a nice day!

"sweet as candy" again

I guess I'm in a neutral-mood, because I keep choosing natural tones for my manicures...today I decided to use Sweet as candy, from Essence, a marvellous light pink which I used for my first post :)
But this time I think I'm going to do some nail art on this base, so stay tuned if you want to see the final result!
Here a few pics of how this colour looks alone (three coats, no tc):
