Orly "Meet me under the mistletoe"

I know Christmas is over, but I forgot to publish this post during the holidays >.< I'm not a fan of green nail polish, but Orly's "Meet me under the mistletoe" is such a true beauty in the bottle that I had to have it!

Nonetheless, I'm still not a fan of green on my nails, and this one makes no exception. Don't get me wrong, I adore this polish, but this colour just doesn't look right on me :/ But the nail varnish itself is gorgeous: it's a forest green base filled with all shades of tiny green fleks <3 A real stunner for sure! But one thing that left me disappointed with this little guy is the fact that it chipped incredibly fast! I don't know if I did something wrong or if this really has a bad resistance, but I was quite surprised because usually Orly nail polishes are such a good quality...let me know if this happened to you too. Well, for now I will just keep it as a little treasure in my collection, at least until I'll convince myself to wear green more often :P

Lo so che Natale è passato ormai da un pezzo, ma mi sono completamente dimenticata di pubblicare questo post durante le vacanze >.< Non so se ormai l'avrete intuito, ma non sono una grande amante degli smalti verdi...resta il fatto che quando ho visto il "Meet me under the mistletoe" di Orly non ho saputo resistere; è uno spettacolo nella boccetta! Purtroppo però nemmeno questa gemma è riuscita a convertirmi, e continuo a pensare che il verde non mi doni per niente, mi sembra sempre un pugno nell'occhio :/ Comunque lo smalto in sè è davvero stupendo: si tratta di una base verde foresta piena di minuscole scagliette di tutte le sfumature di verde <3 Una cosa che però mi ha stupita e delusa è stata la pessima durata che questo smalto ha avuto sulle mie unghie; si è scheggiato in un attimo ovunque, senza che facessi niente di particolare! Strano, perchè solitamente gli smalti Orly sono di ottima qualità...sappiatemi dire (nel caso possediate anche voi questo smalto) se è successo anche a voi. Per il momento però questo gioiellino rimarrà in bella mostra nella mia collezione, almeno finché non mi sarò convinta a usare più spesso il verde :P
